Wildcat Weekly for 9-26-08

Changing Students’ Destinations
If you wish to change the destination of your child at the end of the day, we ask that you call before 1:00 PM if possible. Presently, the office is being flooded with calls after 2:00 PM, and it makes it hectic and confusing to insure that every student gets these messages. Any calls received after 2:25 PM probably will not get to your child as they are already loading busses at that time. Thanks for your understanding.

“A Visit with Abe Lincoln”
The Newport Historical Society is sponsoring an assembly for students titled “A Visit with Abe Lincoln”, and an evening program for the community titled “Abraham and Mary Lincoln: The Long and the Short of It” on Wednesday, October 1st, in the Sebasticook Gym. The fifth and sixth grade students will attend the assembly at 9:00AM and the 7th & 8th at 1:00 PM. The evening show begins at 7:00 PM. Any parents wishing to see the presentations during are very welcome to attend. We are excited to see Steve Wood from New Hampshire perform for our students qas well as the entire community. If you would like more information about the program you can go to www.lincolnpresenters.org.
