Wildcat Weekly for 9/18/09

Dance

There will be a dance for students in grades 5-8 at the community center tonight from 7-9 p.m., admission is $5.00.  There will also be a dance here tomorrow night from 7-9 p.m. for students in grades 6-8 only.  Admission is also $5.00.  Wear something orange and get a free drink!


Special Olympics in RSU#19

Through the generosity of a 21st Century Grant, RSU#19 will be offering Special Olympics – winter/summer games.  The Winter Games consist of snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and the Summer Games consist of bowling, bocce, and athletic events.  Any special needs student is eligible to apply, however, only 40 students will be able to participate.  IF INTERESTED – attend the Pare Informational Meeting on Thursday, September 24th, from 6:00-7:00 PM at Nokomis Regional High School.


Field Hockey/Soccer/Football

Congratulations to the field hockey team for their victories over Brewer and Sedomocha this week.  They play at Central on Monday and home against PCMS on Wednesday.  The football team lost to Bangor but beat China on Thursday.  They travel to Old Town Tuesday.  The field hockey team plays home against PCMS on Wednesday and home against Brewer Thursday. The boys soccer team lost to Sedomocha while the girls team won.  The soccer teams play home Monday against Hichborn, home against Central on Tuesday and at Greenville on Thursday.  The B girls soccer team ONLY will play at Dexter next Friday.

Wed—Baked Ham

Thur—Chop Suey

Fri—Pizza.  

Peanut butter and jelly are a second choice each day.



SCHOOL PICTURES

School picture day is September 29.  Order forms will go out the Friday before pictures.  Please be sure to return the form, with payment, on picture day. Attached to this newsletter is list of packages and prices.

Arriving at School
Students do not need to be at school any earlier than 7:50 AM. Arriving earlier may cause them to have to wait outside.

School Pictures
Lifetouch will be here September 29 for school pictures. Order forms will be sent home with the students before picture day.
