Corinna Rec

The Corinna Rec Dept will be holding softball signups for grades 3-6 on April 7th at 6:00 p.m. at the Corinna Elementary School. This will be for signups only.

Memory Quilt

In honor of our military families in Maine, we are preparing to create a Memory Quilt. If you have a photo (sent digitally works well) of a military member that you would like to have included, please email it to kmitchell@rsu19.org or send in the photo and we can scan it here and return it to you. This quilt will become part of our hallway display when it is finished. We would like photos as soon as possible so that we can get this project underway, but will accept them until April vacation (April 15).

College Knowledge Bowl

On Saturday March 20, SVMS is hosting the first College Knowledge Bowl. In the morning, several elementary school teams will be competing for the Championship title, followed by the middle schools in the afternoon. There will be three preliminary rounds followed by a championship round for each level. The elementary schools begin at 8:30 a.m. with the final round at 10:30 a.m. Then, after lunch, the middle schools begin at 1:00 p.m. and have their championship round at 3:00 p.m. We have two teams involved as well as one from Somerset. The public is welcome to attend this event to cheer on our students. If anyone would like to help out with the event, please contact Mrs. Mitchell at kmitchell@rsu19.org or 368-4592.
