Wildcat Weekly for 11-7-08

Make-up Week

Make-up week is scheduled for November 17 through 21. Students who did not complete their first quarter work or in some cases did not meet standard, will be required to stay after school from 2:30 to 5:00 PM each day until the work is completed. If a student does not satisfactorily complete his/her work by the end of the week, he/she may fail for the ranking period. Keep in mind there will be no summer school, consequently, failing for the quarter may mean retention when the final grades are averaged at the end of the year.

Economics for Success

As part of the seventh grade guidance program, students will participate in the Junior Achievement Program, “Economics for Success” next Wednesday. Students will attend six workshops during the day which explore personal finance and career options based on their skills, interests, and values.
