Wildcat Weekly for 6-5-09

4th Grade Parent/Student Evening
The fifth grade teachers will be hosting an evening for 4th grade parents and students on Thursday, June 11th, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. This is an opportunity for parents and students to meet the fifth grade staff as well as the Title I personnel, Special Education teachers and a host of other educators who will be part of the fifth grader’s program next school year. Many items will be discussed as well as an opportunity to answer any questions. The students and parents will also be given the opportunity to visit the 5th grade wing.

You are cordially invited to the 6th Bi-Annual Student Technology Showcase featuring the work of the Middle School students of M.S.A.D. #48. These 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders have the opportunity to showcase projects they’ve worked on throughout the year. This will take place on Saturday, June 13th from 10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Monday, June 8—8th grade hikes Dixmont Mtn.
Tuesday, June 9—5th grade Field Day
Wednesday, June 10—7th grade visits Ft. Knox and Penobscot Narrows Observatory
Thursday, June 11—8th grade goes to Fun Town in Saco

Sports Recognition Assembly—Tuesday, June 9th, 1:00 p.m. Students who participated in interscholastic sports will be recognized.
Co-Curricula Assembly—Friday, June 12th, 9:00 a.m. Students who participated in the music program, clubs, and academic teams will be recognized.

8th Grade Recognition Assembly—9:30 a.m.
Following the 8th grade assembly, parents and students may enjoy refreshments.

8th Grade Pizza Party & Dance: Parents and 8th graders are welcome to join the staff at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12th for pizza and dessert. There will be a dance from 7-9 p.m. for 7th and 8th grade students.
